Benazir Kafalat Program For Transgender Community

Benazir Kafalat Program for Transgender Community has been launched by the Government of Pakistan. Now the Government of Pakistan has started the Benazir Kafalat Program for the sponsorship of transgenders. Transgenders are a part of this society and it is the responsibility of the government to take care of transgenders and provide assistance to them. The transgender community has now been declared eligible under the Benazir Kafalat program

The government of Pakistan assists the elderly, students, women, and poor sections, but the only community that misses out is the transgender community. This time the new government has provided an amount of 10,500 by qualifying transgenders under the sponsorship program for providing facilities. It has been announced to provide equal facilities to the eunuchs as part of the society.

Transgenders carry their National Identity Card before registration, in which they are registered as transgenders, and then visit for their registration. A special helpline number has also been introduced for the beneficiaries besides mechanisms to avoid unauthenticated and fake messages. There are conditions for receiving assistance from the Kafalat program, which transgender women who meet are eligible for assistance.

Conditions For Availing Of Kafalat 

Conditions have been set by the Government of Pakistan for sponsoring eunuchs, and those who fulfill them will get assistance. After fulfilling the given conditions, the eunuchs will get the assistance amount of 10,500 under the Benazir Income Support Program. The following are the conditions for transgender women:
