Punjab Chief Minister launches dignified employment for youth under Chief Minister Punjab Skill Development Program. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched dignified employment for youth under Punjab Skill Development Program. Under Punjab Skill Development, the Chief Minister will provide employment to 60,000 youth. By getting technical training from the Punjab government, it will be possible for the youth to get dignified employment both at home and abroad.
According to the Punjab government spokesperson, admissions to vocational courses are ongoing in all 184 vocational training institutes across Punjab under the Skill Development Program. Admissions to the Chief Minister Punjab Skill Development Program have started from December 15, 2024, whose classes will be launched from January 15, 2025, in which the youth will be able to enroll in courses related to the sector in line with the needs of the industry and international standards and will be able to ride their future.
These courses include Information and Communication Technology, Stitching, Domestic and Industrial, General Electrician, Solar Technician, Motorcycle Mechanic, E-Bike Repairing, Culinary Art and Professional Chef, Industrial Electrician, Clinical Assistant, Beautician, Welding, Plumbing and 27 different trades.
In addition, under the Skill Development Program, free IT courses with international certificates will be provided and other facilities will be made available to the youth by the Chief Minister of Punjab, which will enable widows to improve their future and get better employment, while under the Skill Development Program, every youth will get the opportunity to study further.
