Free Wi-Fi Project In Kasur
The Punjab government has now started a Free Wi-Fi Project In Kasur too. Under this project, Wi-Fi services are being provided free of charge in various areas of Kasur. This project is being started especially to protect women. In this era of technology, the internet is the need of every human being. People need to stay in touch with themselves while travelling or out of home for any need. This project has been started especially to protect women. Free Wi-Fi service will ensure the safety of women.
Maryam Nawaz said that the data of free Wi-Fi users will be safe and they will not have any difficulty in using this service. This project was launched on May 2 from Lahore. Free Wi-Fi service has been provided at about 100 places in Lahore. The Chief Minister of Punjab said that very soon this project will be extended to all small and big cities of Punjab. It will provide a safe city network to people and it will be strictly monitored.

Which Places Are Providing Free Wi-Fi Service
10 places in Kasur have been selected to provide free Wi-Fi service. These include DHQ Main Gate, Model Bazar, Government College for Women, and National Bank Chowk. Apart from this, it has been provided at the New Bus Terminal, DC Office Kasur Garden, Driver Hotel Railway Station, and Railway Road Chowk.
Ms Maryam Nawaz said that free Wi-Fi service will be provided in government institutions, airports, hospitals, colleges, and universities. At present, only 10 places in Kasur have provided public Wi-Fi service. Announcing this project, Ms Maryam Nawaz said that steps are being taken to spread this project to all districts.

How To Use Free Citizen Wi-Fi Service
Using Chief Minister Punjab’s free Wi-Fi service is very easy for everyone. At the beginning of this project, free Wi-Fi devices were installed at 100 places in Lahore. Through which free Wi-Fi services are being provided to people. After that, the number of Wi-Fi points was increased from 100 to 200 last month. Now expanding this project, free Wi-Fi points have also been installed in Kasur. Ms. Maryam Nawaz said that free Wi-Fi service can be used to contact police or family members in an emergency.
The range of Wi-Fi devices is provided up to a distance of about 300 feet from the relevant point. To use Wi-Fi service, you will turn on Wi-Fi from your mobile. You will see the names of the nearest Wi-Fi devices. You will choose CM Maryam Nawaz’s Wi-Fi service from among them. As soon as you select it, your internet will be connected to the free Wi-Fi service of CM Punjab. You will be able to use it non-stop.

Who Can Benefit From The Free Wi-Fi Service
Free Wi-Fi services are now enabled in Kasur as well. All people related to the city can use this service. People coming from other cities can also benefit from the free Wi-Fi service. Ms Maryam Nawaz said that no eligibility criteria have been allocated for using this service. Any citizen or people belonging to any region of Pakistan can use this service when they reach the Wi-Fi service area.
